My 1955 Willy Utility Wagon Project

Willy Utility Wagon - Mountain Boy JournalsI have an ongoing project that I would like you to be a part of.  We had friends over and to my surprise he offered me his vehicle.   I instantly said yes and thanked him for the vehicle.

It is still at our friend’s house because we have a lot of snow and ice back here on our lane and we won’t be able to pick it up for a bit.  We have worked out a deal – in place of paying him for the vehicle I will be helping him clear his new piece of property and working off the payment that way.

It had been a while since we were up to his property that I could see the vehicle, but my Mom had a picture so I got to see what it look like again.  The first time I saw it I thought it was so cool, it is an old jeep.

I can’t wait to get it and fix it up so it looks new and I am going to paint it camouflage. It is pretty cool.  I just figured out that it has a stick shift.   I will have to learn to drive a stick shift and it might have hand crank window wipers.

Once I get it back here in the wilderness, I will be taking the before pictures and I will be doing videos of the work that I do to it.  So stay tuned for the project to start.  I am learning patience.
